Then print out your completed forms and bring them with you to your first appointment. Adobe Acrobat is usually manufacture- installed on most desktop and laptop computers. Look for this icon . For the sake of protecting the privacy of your information, do not email completed forms.
How does therapy work?
Therapy generally begins with being seen once a week. When you are ready, we will schedule appointments every other week, once a month or as needed. People are seen for many reasons, and during the first session, the therapist and client go over forms to help them sort out what their needs are.
It is very common for a client not to be sure why they are attending therapy, but simply know that they are ready for change and a happier and more fulfilling life. Most clients report that they feel extreme relief at the end of the first session.
Is therapy confidential?

Therapy is completely confidential and the location of the office also offers privacy. If complete privacy is needed to attend therapy, please note this with the therapist when making your appointment.
What type of services do you offer?
Individual Therapy -- I work with adults who are feeling anxious, depressed, are stuck in negative or inaccurate thoughts, have low self-esteem, or are overwhelmed by the demands of work, relationships, and life in general. Individual therapy focuses on you, and developing what you need to have a happier, healthier life.
Marriage and Couples Therapy -- I work with married couples, engaged couples, dating couples, or a couple who live together who want to learn how to reduce conflicts, get needs met, and keep the romance alive. Marriage / Couples therapy focuses on improving the relationship you have.
Family Therapy -- I can work with 2 or more family members, such as adult children and older parents, or adult siblings who come to therapy together to work on issues of forgiveness, increasing empathy, holding boundaries, and other problems of having a close family bond.
What do you charge per session?
No show appointments and those cancelled without 24 hours' notice incur a $50 fee.
Cash discount available upon request.
If a longer session is needed, this may be arranged. As an example, a couple may feel they need more time or an individual may have a busy schedule and want to schedule two sessions at one time.

I do not bill for services. I do take Beacon Health Options insurance. If you don't have Beacon Health coverage, ask for a receipt for my services that you can submit to your health insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.
